  • HAIR & MAKEUP NOTES FROM MS. EVE:

    – Use foundation (powder or liquid) that matches the dancer’s skin tone. Make sure any foundation or bronzer or concealer is blended well and non-shimmer.

    – Use a rosy blush that compliments the dancer’s skin tone so those cheek bones really pop. Don’t forget the fishy face trick.

    – Try to use hair-ties that match the dancer’s hair color. They sell all colors of hair ties.

    – Make sure the dancer has no loose hairs or wispy ends; hairspray all those hairs back.

    – Curl the ponytail of the dancer using either a curling iron or soft sponges. Let’s keep those ponytails looking full and bouncy.

    – Don’t forget for competition every dancer must have NO earrings, NO nail-polish, NO jewelry of any kind.

    – Always have makeup remover wipes and Q-tips with you at all times; you never know when you’ll need them!
