  2. HAIR & MAKEUP:

    • MAKEUP KIT:
Ms. Jodeci selected and created a makeup kit for each dancer to achieve the specific team-look we’re going for.
    • HAIR & MAKEUP NOTES FROM MS. JODECI:

      Hi guys,

I put together a Makeup Kit for you all that you will need for competition! This will insure we are all on the same page and looking fabulous!!! For the ladies this includes: Mascara ,EyeShadow , Blush, and Lipstick. For the boys: Mascara, blush, and nude Lipstick. (Yes, boys…you need makeup too!) haha

While everyone will have these items, there are still items that will need to be purchased on your own and are REQUIRED (prior to workshop date if possible). You may use whatever brands you like!

I will also include a list of items that are NOT REQUIRED, but may be helpful if you want to go the extra mile!

      REQUIRED:
-Foundation that matches students’ skin tone
-Powder (‘setting powder’ is helpful and insures that foundation stays put! )
-Black eyeliner (liquid or pencil is fine, but keep in mind this is tough when lining the water line. I personally would prefer you have both, but I will leave this up to you!)
-Bronzer (non-shimmer, This is a powder that is a warmer tone than your foundation color)
-Makeup brushes for application (eye shadow, foundation/powder, blush. etc. -ELF brand has super cheap brushes that are great quality. Target, CVS, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond usually sell their products.)
-Hair ties that MATCH the students hair (aka No black ponytail holders for blondes, etc.)
-Bobby Pins (same color as students hair)
-Hairspray (Garnier Fructis Full Control, green bottle. NO FLY AWAYS ALLOWED)
      -Makeup Remover Wipes

***Students should NOT wash their hair within 24 hours of a competition day. Slightly dirty hair is easier to style and holds better. Freshly washed hair WILL NOT HOLD.***

      RECOMMENDED (not required):
-Face Primer (This helps makeup to stay on longer)
-False Eyelashes or Eye Lash curler (Falsies will be required in the future. I left them out for this dance because they are wearing hats. If you do choose to wear falsies, I recommend “Ardell” in the style “Wispies”)
-Moisturizer (if they have dryer skin)
-Concealer (a shade or two lighter than their skin for highlighting the face)
-Brow pencil/powder (for blondes especially, plain old eyeshadow that is the appropriate color works as well!)
-Make up setting spray (This sets the final product and helps elongate the wear of the makeup)

  1. See notes under Hair & Makeup section
  2. Performance Notes: Will be added as they become available

IV-SCHEDULE CHANGES & NOTABLES :
