The Suhaila Salimpour format is a revolutionary foundational technique for traditional and fusion belly dance styles focusing on strong muscular control and body alignment to create efficient and effective movement. Build strength and stamina for precise isolations, and develop strong technique and body posture as a basis for layered and traveling movement. This class will draw from the Suhaila Salimpour format and class composition, including warm-up, technique, vocabulary, and nomenclature, as well as steps and movements from the Jamila Salimpour format. Donna is Suhaila Level 3 and Jamila Level 2 certified and pursuing her teaching license for both the Suhaila Salimpour and Jamila Salimpour formats.
