In this Advanced Beginner-level class, experienced dancers, with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience, will continue to build on basic contemporary technique from the beginner classes, as they learn a full choreography designed for the stage.
Students in this performance class are eligible to perform on stage at the 24th semi-annual Gala on Sunday, December 8th at 3:30pm.
Prerequisites: A minimum of 18 months of prior Contemporary or Ballet experience is required. Placement approval is at the instructor’s discretion.
Fitted black tank top or leotard
Fitted black dance shorts, or leggings
1) Tan footless or convertible tights (optional to be worn with shorts) NO FOOTED TIGHTS
2) Socks or Barefoot (for beginner-level classes only) or Lyrical Half-Sole Shoe (Advanced Beginner and Higher)
French braid, TIGHT high pony tail, or bun (hair should not have to be adjusted in the middle of class)
NO JEWELRY (exception: stud earrings and medical alert jewelry)
