ABOUT K-Pop
Korean Pop music exploded onto the Southeast Asian music scene in the latter half of the 20th century. The 2012 hit Gangnam Style is credited with popularizing K-Pop in the American music scene.
Since then, Groups like BigBang have swept the scene with sold out concert tours in the USA. These huge K-pop acts incorporate American popular music styles such as rap, pop and techno in their songs and feature stylized urban dance choreography in their flashy and larger-than-life music videos.
K-pop choreography will showcase new school urban performance, featuring sharp movements, smooth transitions and of course star-quality attitude. To get a feel for whats in store, check out videos from artists such as BigBan, Girls Generation, 2NE1, 4Minute and EXO.
