Description
Rhythm, Percussion, Syncopation! These are elements of Tap; a form of dance that crosses into both street and stage venues. Tap is a genre of movement that can be executed both with and without music and has been seen throughout history from the Vaudeville stage to street corners to Broadway!
In this Beginner-level class for students between the ages of 13 and 17, you will learn the fundamentals: Basic rhythm, stomps, flaps, shuffles, digs, center and across the floor combinations, and more.
This class is suitable for students with no prior experience, as well as those with minimal experience (less than 2 years) looking to brush-up on technique.
