Rhythm, Percussion, Syncopation! These are elements of Tap; a form of dance that crosses into both street and stage venues. Tap is a genre of movement that can be executed both with and without music and has been seen throughout history from the Vaudeville stage to street corners to Broadway!
In this Low Intermediate-level class for experienced dancers with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience, you will continue to build on basic Tap technique from the advanced beginner classes, while progressing to more complex combinations and rhythms.
A minimum of 2 to 3 years prior Tap experience is required. Placement approval is at the instructor’s discretion.
If you’re unsure about suitability, please do a Drop-In for the first class of the session and the instructor will make that determination at the end of class.
