Rhythm, Percussion, Syncopation! These are elements of Tap; a form of dance that crosses into both street and stage venues. Tap is a genre of movement that can be executed both with and without music and has been seen throughout history from the Vaudeville stage to street corners to Broadway!
In this Low Intermediate-level class for students between the ages of 13 and 17, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience, you will continue to build on Tap technique from the advanced beginner classes, while also focusing on speed, articulation, and choreography retention.
A minimum of 2 to 3 years prior Tap experience is required. Placement approval is at the instructor’s discretion.
